ChemQuest’s education programs provide immersive, expert-led training designed to build practical skills and deepen technical understanding across coatings formulation and adhesive bonding. Through hands-on courses, classroom instruction, and customizable training options, participants gain real-world experience that enhances both foundational knowledge and advanced capabilities in specialty materials technologies.
Powder Coatings Formulation Classes
Our Powder Coating Kitchen classes are designed for those interested in learning the fundamentals of powder coating formulation. These immersive courses combine expert instruction with hands-on experience to help participants build practical, real-world skills. With a hands-on approach, participants formulate, process, and apply their own powder coatings.
Each two-day class is held at the ChemQuest Powder Coating Research facility in South Boston, Va., and is attended by raw material suppliers, coatings manufacturers, OEM users, and technical college or university students.

ChemQuest is the exclusive cooperation partner of Fraunhofer IFAM for European Adhesive Bonder (EAB) and European Adhesive Specialist (EAS) courses in North America. Participants gain an understanding of the technical aspects and special features of bonding technology through hands-on and classroom training.
Courses are held at the ChemQuest Technology Institute in South Boston, Va., multiple times per year.

EAB - European Adhesive Bonder Course
EAS - European Adhesive Specialist Course
The European Adhesive Bonder (EAB) training course gives participants an understanding of the technical aspects and importance of their particular work procedures.
Participants will gain an understanding of the technical aspects and importance of their work procedures, enabling them to independently and professionally carry out adhesive bonding work.
Following completion of the European Adhesive Specialist (EAS) training course, participants will be able to take on supervisory functions, prepare work instructions, and make a contribution to quality assurance aspects of bonding technology.
Graduates will be able to plan, organize, and supervise bonding processes, as well as monitor
and vary process parameters, if necessary.
The EAS course is delivered through a blended online and in-person format, with the in-person week taking place at the ChemQuest Technology Institute facility in South Boston, Va.
